    This is a small company, so I know what it’s like to wear many hats in a fast-paced environment. My accomplishments and responsibilities include:

    • Develop and source original watch designs from factories in Shenzhen, China.
    • Strategized and executed April Fools' stunt that resulted in 100k+ pageviews and major media coverage, including Adweek, TechCrunch, and Telegraph.uk, and a Philly Geek Award for "Story of the Year." (Here's my write-up of the whole stunt, showing exactly how we did it.)
    • Managed PR and marketing for two product launches which earned a combined $135k in their first month.
    • Created and implemented marketing and B2B sales strategy which grew revenues over 150% through cold calls, emails, and trade shows.
    • Maintain relationships with 100+ wholesale accounts in major boutiques, museums, and retailers.​
    • Run and optimize digital ads on several platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, retargeting, Reddit, Pinterest).
    • Design email newsletters to promote blog content and sales.
    • Track and report on marketing KPIs.

    Tonic Music

    2015 - Present

     

    Tonic is a business I started which produces educational music products. Since I developed and launched less than a year ago, it has earned over $20k in revenue with less than $500 in start-up capital. Here's a summary of what I learned.

    • Created and marketed a new product, including all design, web development, branding, sales copy, and photo/video production.
    • Handled all PR and received placement in a number of local and national publications, including Philadelphia Magazine, All About Jazz, Sonicstate, Synthtopia, Geekadelphia, Technical.ly Philly, and more.
    • Reached funding goal in under 3 days; finished campaign at over 275% target revenue.
    • Established wholesale business and sold to music retailers via cold calls and email.

    Greensgrow is an urban farm and food distribution hub, where I was on the management team. I oversaw operations and worked first hand to see how a non-profit can supplement charitable income sources with earned revenue to affect real economic change.

    • Oversaw all financial functions of a $2M organization with a complex structure and multiple revenue streams.
    • Produce weekly reports and announcements for management team and general staff.
    • Managed Administrative Assistant to ensure best accounting and record-keeping practices.

    For this project I assisted author Charlie Hoehn editing his book "Play It Away: A Workaholic's Cure for Anxiety."

     

    I was selected from a pool of candidates as a crowd-sourced editor to refine the structure and content of his book before launch.
